After graduating in Translation and Interpreting in Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, in 2006 I moved to Ireland and completed a Master of Arts in Translation Studies in Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland. I was also appointed sworn translator and interpreter by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007. I am a qualifed teacher of Spanish as a foreign language by Instituto Cervantes in Dublin, Ireland.

I hold a degree in Applied Languages and Translating, and have been working in the translation business for 11 years. It's a hobby as well as a job! My other hobby is IT - anything to do with software and hardware. Through these interests, I have become an expert in IT translations and localization. I also have a considerable experience in medical translations (both general and specialised), legal translation (criminal and civil law) and, being a writer myself - literary translations. No translation is too difficult for me and they are all completed to the highest standard.

I have been working in the translation industry for more than 30 years. Doing translations is not only my job, but is also a hobby. I pride myself on always completing my work to deadline. In fact, my motto is: Better one minute early than one second late! My strongest points are a vast experience in translating and subtitling for television, being proficient in trying to achieve perfectness and punctuality. I have experience translating all kind of documents (from tourism guidebooks to diplomas) but my main specialization is in the areas of cinema, music and sports.

I am very enthusiastic about translations. I speak English, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish other than my native tongue, Azerbaijani. I am competent in many subject areas, including software localization, legal, technical, engineering and etc.

Translation, proofreading and subtitling are part of my daily routine. Since 2001, when I started my career as a translator, I have been working with clients in more than 15 countries in Europe, Asia and USA. My main areas of translation are Marketing and Legal. My strength would be accuracy and high capacity for work. Each new day brings me new knowledge, experience and contacts. Therefore, I feel I’m in the right place and doing what I love to do.

A graduate of Economics, I am now focusing my efforts on the challenging world of translation. Before this, I worked as a Project Manager under a UNDP construction project. I was appointed sworn translator by by the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Bulgaria in 1997 with main areas of expertise Economics, Tourism, Mechanical engineering and Cast ironing.

Since 2004 I have been living in Santiago de Chile as well as in Mexico and Brazil. I hold a Master's Degree in Economics and in Latin-American Studies (History, Politics, Romance Studies (Literature, Translation in Spanish and Portuguese), both from the University of Cologne. I worked in Chile for the United Nations (ECLAC (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean). At the moment I am providing services to a German engineering company. My arears of specialization are Engineering, Economics, Business, History, Politics, and technical translations. I also teach German at language schools.
